353 In a number of fields of medical research, Malaysian investigators have made notable scientific contributions, which, perhaps for their importance, have been published in international scientific journals. These findings, scattered in various specialist medical journals, would have found their audience among specialists of similar interests. However, these findings ought to be of interest to a different audience on account of their place of origin. Being about Malaysian patients, it is only fitting that these findings should have a Malaysian audience.
